Ozzy Osbourne met Sharon through his former manager, Don Arden, who was infamously called the “Al Capone of Pop.” Regardless, it was the 70s, and Sharon worked as a receptionist for her father, who was the manager of Black Sabbath at the time. Years after this initial meeting, Sharon and Ozzy’s relationship would turn into a romantic one in 1979.

That same year, Sharon became Ozzy’s manager after his substance abuse caught up with him. Per Sharon’s advice, Ozzy pursued his solo career, and just a year later, the British rocker would go on to release the iconic hit, “Crazy Train”. Two years later, Ozzy Osbourne made his divorce from his ex-wife final, and Sharon Arden became Sharon Osbourne.
