While her career started in the recording studio, Dolly Parton used her voice to go far beyond the stage. Since the 1950s, the country icon not only composed over 3,000 songs but also helmed a theme park, a water park, and even a few dinner theaters. That wasn’t all as she also focused on giving back to the community thanks to the Dollywood Foundation. A true business legend, it appeared that Dolly wasn’t finished expanding her resume as she would open her own hotel.

That’s right. If leaving her mark with Dollywood wasn’t enough, the country singer felt like she could take the hotel business to the next level. And given her nature, Dolly didn’t know the word bland or small. Thanks to a booth at the CMA Fest, fans got a glimpse into the new project that promised to open in spring 2026. That’s not that far off. And according to reports, the hotel will be called SongTeller.
Dolly Parton Changing The Way People Hotel
As for what fans should expect from the hotel – it will be the perfect mix of comfort and Dolly. The floors of the hotel will feature some of the singer’s favorite colors of gold and pink with some butterflies added in. It will also come fashioned with two entertainment venues. One, Parton’s Live, will offer songwriters a chance to collaborate. The other room, Jolene’s, will be located on the 11th floor.
While that might sound like an odd place to put a venue (on the 11th floor), the designers knew that the view was crucial. Guests will be able to look out the window to see downtown Nashville as the hotel will be built not far from the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Ryman Auditorium.
Other than the venues, the SongTeller hotel also looked to offer a coffee shop called Cup of Ambition (perfect name) and Dolly Life of Many Colors Museum. Already promoted as the ultimate experience for the Dolly fan, and there are millions of those out there, the hotel will feature 245 rooms that come with a musical experience thanks to Bluetooth Speakers perfectly positioned in each room.
