“greedy” (2023 Billboard Music Awards)
First up on our list of McRae performances, we have this stunner from the Billboard Music Awards in 2023. Here, McRae performs one of her breakout hits, “greedy.” What is most evident from this performance is her stage presence. It’s no secret that McRae has sought inspiration from Britney Spears, but with this performance she proves she’s worthy of the comparison.
I would want myself
Baby, please believe me
I’ll put you through hell
Just to know me, yeah, yeah
So sure of yourself
Baby, don’t get greedy
That sh** won’t end well
“It’s ok I’m ok” (Live from Madison Square Garden 2024)
Debuting a new song live is never an easy task. However, McRae does so superbly here. She gave “It’s ok I’m ok” a splashy debut at Madison Square Garden in 2024, complete with unforgettable choreography and an ’00s head-mic. It may not be McRae’s most vocally impressive performance to date, but it’s hard to really care about that when she’s giving us the show she delivered here.
And she be like, “He’s so perfect”
I be like, “Oh, what version?”
“Ain’t nobody got me this nervous”
Oh, baby, I been there
And right in that same position
So, baby, don’t get this twisted
No, nothin’ could make me miss it
Take him, he’s yours
“Revolving door” (The Tonight Show 2025)
Conversely, McRae’s vocals shine in this performance of “Revolving door” from 2025. She strips back her dance breaks and puts the naysayers’ comments to bed. If you thought anything negative about McRae and her vocal chops, your opinion will change after watching the Fallon performance, below.
My cold heart is finally melting
I moved from the east to the west wing
I finally think it might be helping, oh, oh
I confess, I’m not that versatile
Say I’m good, but I might be in denial
Takes one call and that undoes the dial
“Sports car” (Saturday Night Live 2025)
McRae’s performance of “Sports car” on Saturday Night Live in 2025 was name-making. The stage setup, the choreography, and her vocals were all top tier. It’s clear she has carved out her niche and is reveling in her iron-clad reputation as the next big thing in pop.
Hey, cute jeans
Take mine off me
Oh, golly gee
I can’t take no more
I’m goin’ weak in my knees
Where’d you put those keys?
